How to Audition

Audition Options

Now is the time to audition for the 2025-2026 school year.
All applications consist of two parts: an audition and an online application.

You can access the online applications through our How to Apply page.

We can’t wait to meet you! It’s normal for students to feel nervous during auditions. We want to reassure you that auditioning is a welcoming, active process where students get to display their talents and meet their future faculty. We are looking for passion, not perfection!

SPIN Night Audition - Thursday February 6th 5:30-7:30pm

SPIN Night will begin with a presentation for incoming families and students to help give everyone information about our school. After the presentation, young artists can audition for their chosen VPA Department while families get a chance to tour the school, learn about clubs & sports, and ask questions to faculty and students.

Be sure to read the audition requirements below so you are prepared for the day. Sign up for your spot today.

Shadow Day Audition - Schedule a Day in the Life

Some VPA departments will also offer students who shadow a chance to audition during the course of their shadow day. In order to do this, students will need to be prepared and, in most cases, have already submitted their online applications to be considered for a shadow day audition.

Be sure to read the audition requirements below so you are prepared for the day. Sign up for your shadow day today.
